The trees get shorter and shorter as you approach the true tundra. Flying over the North Slope in Alaska one will see skies alive with clouds and Aurora Borealis. The vegetation is not like southern Alaska. The artist pictures himself near the forest’s edge looking north to the last stand of trees, knowing that after that the Tundra with its more subtle landscapes awaits him. Original painting comes with mat, titled and signed by the artist.
