Tualatin Valley is so underrated. Its big relative, the Willamette, gets all the attention. It is a gentle, beautiful place, home to the Tualatin branch of the Kalapuya people (Yamhill isn’t a hill of yams, it’s the Yamhala dialect of Kalapuya!) and now also home to suburbs of Portland; Beaverton, Tualatin, Aloha et al. This scene was painted in the Tualatin Valley. Original, 1 of 1. October 2022. Signed and titled.
